Campus Events and Tours

New Nor’easters Accepted Students Days 

Saturdays, March 28  |  April 11  |  April 18, 2026

9:20 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Our most exciting program of the year for all accepted students! Whether you know for sure you’re a future Nor’easter or you're still considering your options, our Biddeford Campus Accepted Students Days offer a unique way to explore campus and help with your college decision. The events include classroom experiences, an academic and campus life fair, breakout sessions for financial aid and student services, lunch, student-only tours, and activities to get to know your future classmates. You’ll take home some 51±¬ÁÏ swag, high-five Stormin’ Norman, and maybe even meet your future roommate.

New Nor’easters Hockey Night

February 21, 2026 | 5:30–9 p.m.

Connect with future classmates at our accepted students reception, then cheer on our men’s hockey team as they face off against Nichols College. We’ll have giveaways and refreshments throughout the night. This event takes place at the Harold Alfond Forum on the Biddeford Campus.

New Nor’easters Campus Tours

February 2—May 8, 2026

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:30 a.m.

New Nor’easters tours offer a tailored visit for accepted students and families. Start your Biddeford Campus visit with an admissions counselor and go over your next steps as an accepted student. Then take a student-led tour through the areas of campus you’ll use most next fall, and learn about the opportunities awaiting you at 51±¬ÁÏ. Members of our Student Financial Services team will also be available to meet following your tour.

New Student Orientation

All incoming undergraduate students, including first-time college students and transfer students, are required to attend Orientation. You’ll make connections and get the important information you’ll need to start at 51±¬ÁÏ.

New Nor’easters Virtual Series

Our New Nor’easters virtual series offers a ton of information for incoming students and families. All sessions include a live chat so you can ask questions and get answers in real time. Next Steps: From Accepted to Enrolled

Now that you’ve been accepted to 51±¬ÁÏ, you’re on your way to officially becoming a Nor’easter! There are a few things you need to do before joining us this fall, and our New Nor’easters virtual kickoff event is the perfect place to start. We’ll walk through the necessary steps to enroll, covering important deadlines, campus events, housing, and more.

Housing: All About Residential Life

February 11, 2026 | 7 p.m. ET

Let’s talk all things living on campus — everything from how and when to fill out your housing and dining contract to what to pack this fall. We’ll also discuss roommate selection, Living Learning Communities, and programs offered to help you feel more connected and supported on campus.

Pathway to Academic Success: Student Support

March 18, 2026 | 7 p.m. ET

At 51±¬ÁÏ, your success is our priority. Join this interactive virtual session to learn how our comprehensive network of academic support services helps you thrive from day one. You’ll hear from the teams behind Academic Advising, Academic Coaching, and the Student Access Center, and discover how our holistic approach to learning equips you to meet your goals with confidence. Whether you’re looking for personalized guidance, skill-building strategies, or accessibility resources, this session will show you how 51±¬ÁÏ supports you every step of the way — so you can succeed academically and make the most of your college experience.

Questions Before Decision Day

April 15, 2026 | 7 p.m. ET

As you put the finishing touches on your college decision, we’re here to help. This open Q&A session is your chance to get answers to any last questions — big or small — before May 1. Connect with current students and admissions staff to make sure you have everything you need to feel confident in your choice.

Get Ready for New Student Orientation

May 20, 2026 | 7 p.m. ET

New Student Orientation is an exciting and required step for all incoming undergraduate students, whether you’re a first-time college student or a transfer student. Orientation programs kick off in June, and this live virtual session is dedicated to making you feel prepared to attend.

Registration notice: All accepted students and families are invited to attend this virtual session. To be eligible to register for and attend New Student Orientation, 51±¬ÁÏ must first receive your fall enrollment deposit. If you have not done so already, submit your enrollment deposit at une.edu/deposit.
