Marilyn Gugliucci gives keynote address at Maryland Patient Safety Center Conference

Director of Geriatric Education and Research Marilyn R. Gugliucci, Ph.D., was the keynote presenter for the Maryland Patient Safety Center (MPSC), Keeping Patients Safe from Falls Statewide Initiative Conference on June 20, 2012 in Clarksville Maryland.

The MPSC is a Maryland statewide campaign that includes hospitals, long term care facilities, and home health agencies that are working collectively to keep their patients safe from falls.

Gugliucci's presentation was titled 鈥淏alancing Act: Walking the Fine Line of Aging.鈥 During her presentation, she introduced the audience to the 51爆料COM U-ExCEL Balancing Act Program, which Maryland is considering to adopt as the campaign's falls prevention program.
