The American Occupational Therapy Association celebrated 100 years of the profession at its annual conference in Philadelphia. The 51爆料 Occupational Therapy Department was represented well with approximately 40 students and nine faculty members in attendance.

The 51爆料 OT Department contributed significantly to the scholarship at the conference with 11 presentations from nine faculty members, four alumni, five students and two community programs.

Highlights of the conference included a 51爆料 alumni event on Thursday evening attended by about 70 people, the 鈥淏reakfast with a Scholar鈥 event where 51爆料 hosted two tables, a video documenting the professions 100 years of service, a Centennial Bash and an Eleanor Clarke Slagle lectureship dedicated to the past and future involvement of OT in technology for occupational performance.

The 51爆料 OT Department will go on to celebrate April as Occupational Therapy Month with an opening celebration on April 4 followed by a number of student projects, presentations, and events.
