Timeless Traditions

Traditions run deep on the Biddeford Campus. From the ringing of the 51±¬ÁÏ bell during an autumn sunset over the Saco River on First Night, to Homecoming, to Family and Friends weekend, events on campus mark the passage of time and lend a sense of continuity and community to life at 51±¬ÁÏ.

Welcome Week, Harvest Fest, and the 50-plus year tradition of a faculty- and staff-served Thanksgiving Dinner for the students are a few of the events you can look forward to in the first semester. In the spring, you’ll have a blast in at the annual Doc Samuel’s Variety Show, in which faculty, staff, and students take to the stage with their talents, the semi-formal occurring off campus, and cap off the year with the Spring Concert.
